Reactor plays podcasts from their publishers’ public RSS feeds (found through Apple’s podcast directory), videos through YouTube’s official player, and public-domain books from open libraries. That content belongs to its publishers and authors. We don’t copy their audio to our servers, we don’t alter it, and we don’t sell it. The transcripts, translations and explanations Reactor generates are study aids for the person who opened the episode.

1. Publishers: opting out

Add <itunes:block>yes</itunes:block> to your feed and Reactor stops listing your show automatically. Or write to support@reactorlang.com with the feed URL and we’ll block it within one business day.

2. What a notice needs

1. The work you own or represent, and how we can verify that.
2. Where it appears in Reactor: the show name and feed URL, the episode or video URL, or the book.
3. Your name, organisation and contact details.
4. A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law, and that the information in the notice is accurate.
5. Your signature (typed is fine).

3. What we do

Within one business day of a valid notice we remove the show from the directory, delete any transcripts, translations and summaries derived from it, and tell you what was done. Feeds that are the subject of repeated valid notices are blocked permanently.

4. Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, reply to our notice with the same identification, your contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of your place of residence. We forward it to the original notifier and, unless they file an action within 10 business days, restore the listing.
